Hello, I'm GaVonne!

My entrepreneurial journey began when I hit a pivotal point in my life. I was juggling multiple jobs and battling health issues, all while trying to balance family and personal life. It was then I realized I needed a significant change—I wanted more flexibility, freedom, and a life lived on my own terms. So, I blazed my own path and reignited my passions by becoming an entrepreneur.

However, my story doesn't start there. Long before launching SPARKNHer Enterprises, I was an Educator, helping at-risk youth and young adults realize that with the right tools, they could defy the limited expectations placed on them. This foundation of empowering others led me to a certification as a Project Management Professional with a focus on process improvement. While these business principles helped me thrive professionally, I quickly saw how powerful they could be in one's personal life. Using these strategies, I began helping others take action, get clear on their next steps, and launch their own ventures.

Today, as a Business Empowerment Strategist, I use my proven SPARKSystem™ to help female solopreneurs bring their business ideas to life and achieve the success they deserve—without burnout. I am constantly learning, evolving, and sharing the strategies that have worked for me and countless others on this entrepreneurial journey.

My passion for innovation and igniting positive change in others truly makes me a FireStarter! Together, we can embrace the change needed to live boldly, passionately, and purposefully.

My Backstory

"Embrace change and the endless possibilities that it brings." ~GaVonne

I just received a call from my recruiter regarding my interview earlier that week. She told me that it went well, and that the owner really liked me; however, due to my vast skills and work experience, he was not sure where exactly, I would fit in. As a result, he went with a different candidate. I was crushed.


A year earlier I was battling health issues, working five jobs (one full time, two part-time, a seasonal, and free-lancing on the side), all while transitioning from a household of seven to five.  I wasn't sure what I wanted to do, what my next move would be, but I knew this wasn't working.  I was exhausted, stressed, and overworked.  I thought leaving my full-time job as an educator and re-entering the corporate arena was the answer.


Wow, I did not know how difficult my career transition would be.  I thought my extensive work history and skills set represented someone who was eager to learn new things.  I just knew surely I would get the new career I wanted.  Surprisingly, my diverse background wasn't seen as an asset to employers. Instead, the last business owner's words were a repeat from those earlier.  I was no longer hopeful.

I was left feeling frustrated, discouraged, and uncertain.


After my pity session, I pulled myself together. It was then that I decided I was tired of letting others determine my worth. I was no longer going to allow others to pigeon hole me with their limitations. I decided that I would no longer wait for someone to validate me.  I needed a change.  I wanted a place where I could thrive-a place where I would be free to grow, evolve, and be unapologetically me.  I wanted flexibility and time to spend with my children and doing things that I loved. 


It was then I decided I would choose me by reclaiming control of my life, redefining the possible, and pursuing my passions.  I chose to start living life BOLDLY, PASSIONATELY, and PURPOSEFULLY!

As women, I know that we sometimes find ourselves trapped by limitations, compromising our true selves, and giving up on our aspirations, but I also know that we are capable of so much more.  I believe that every woman has the spark within to achieve her dreams and to step in to her greatness. 
This is why I created SPARKNUniversity. My mission is to change lives by igniting women to live boldly, passionately, and purposefully.  I do this by helping them create an impactful business that generates revenue, freedom, and energy.
